Pull your burka tighter over your head, Hajrija. Truth and lies are not the exclusive domain of the media. Both are available, use your brain to figure out which is which. The more sources available, the better chance regular citizens have to discern the truth. One source is NOT the ideal. China has one source, the government. Are you positing that the government is a trustworthy source of truth? It’s the media that exposes corruption, what is the incentive for a government to do this on its own? Wake up, look around, become a student of history and realize that the media you’re villifying just gave you a pulpit for your ridiculous ideas.

A few days back, China was in news for banning RSS feeds and now, they have put censorship on the sexy ads. I won’t be surprised if Chinese govt. puts a FULL STOP to media.

And why the hell wouldn’t they stop the media whatsoever. The media brings us nothing good, and no truth at all. Just look at the countries where media rules, so many people there are convinced that the media is the only source of truth, that the media knows whats best for us, that the media is the only way to go, but as people dig deeper they find more and more lies that the media ”exposes”.
I’m glad for the Chinese people, I really am, they will be spared all the crap that the media feeds us every day.
